If you're excited to have found the perfect occupation this post may be for you.
Different occupations need different styles and images. Your corporate portraits may not fit your new venture.
Julie approached me when setting up her new business as a wedding celebrant.
She had an idea of what she wanted, an outdoor space in one of our local areas of Manchester and Cheshire.
We're lucky to have so many beautiful venues and parks to choose from, finally settling on Tatton Park in Cheshire. It's a hugely popular wedding venue with its stunning mansion house, gardens and vast parkland.
Tailoring the look to suit Julie's new role, conveying her open friendly personality, whilst keeping it professional was exactly what she needed.
We had a fabulous time capturing a series of images which suit the style and message she wants to get across. Widely respected in her TV career the images can now be used to help promote her new venture which I'm sure will be a great success.
Julie Kelling Wedding Celebrant
I've been working freelance as a TV producer making entertainment television for over 25 years. I've always been the one behind the camera but after launching a new venture as a wedding celebrant, I needed to take centre stage and focus on producing myself and my business. And to do that I needed a profile photograph that would hopefully generate the warmth and experience I bring to my role as a celebrant and I trusted Bernadette to be the one to capture it.
As a Humanist wedding celebrant my job is to write the script for the ceremony, which often centres on the couples' love story, how they met, where was their first kiss, who proposed, how and when? Even though the stories have a common theme each one is unique and even the same story can be told two different ways depending on which half of the couple is telling it! I love getting to meet new people, sometimes chatting to their family and friends too, it all helps me to create a bespoke and meaningful ceremony for each couple.
